She noticed him right away… the tall and handsome P.E. teacher. And… he was not the typical tube sock wearing.. sweat band sporting sort…oh to the contrary. She admired him from afar for a while and whenever one of her fellow teachers needed to correspond with him…. she always volunteered to deliver the message. Several inconspicuous emails about gym and schedules and stuff…and a few elongated glances later… he realized it was safe to ask. He mustered up the courage, and asked the pretty elementry school teacher to dinner. And the rest, as they say, is history.
I’ll let you in on a tiny secret… he noticed her too..right from the start.
We began our photographic journey at the fabulous Jekyll Island Club.
I asked Laney and Robert…straight up… are red apples too trite… you know..like cops and doughnuts. She laughed and said…no they are awesome.

Our little spin on the “flowers-behind-the-back-surpise”

Laney and I both ADORE these trees. I mean… how can you not admire this beauty?

The connection between these two is beautiful.

The next two shots are a great example of how Sean and I shoot together. While I am getting this:

He is getting this:

A sweet save the date image with a little nod to their shared profession.

Who doesn’t love a good “foot-popping” kiss?

There was no way we were leaving the grounds without playing a little croquet. PS-They made the shot!!

After leaving the gorgeous Jekyll Island club, we drove a short distance to these ruins to get some fierce pics

And then… we ended at this private beach right around sunset.

I love how the wind is sweeping her hair to one side. Gorgeous girl!

Love the pink that happens right before sunset.

I know including all three of the below images might be a bit much.. but hey… it’s my blog and I make the rules

Sean is always so good about grabbing action shots of me. I need to get better about shooting him too! I’m sharing this one because when I saw it and couldn’t believe the way I twist my body sometimes. But hey… a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do!

Laney and Robert… We love how you love each other. Your chemistry is beautiful to witness. Thank you so much for being adventurous and trusting us. It really shows in the final images. xoxo-Amanda
