Lovely Lori

She loves that man of hers and has since high school.  He loves her back with adoring eyes that seem to soak her in with every glance.

She loves about 20 children whom she has nannied for.  They love her back and each of them wanted a photo with THIER Lori on her wedding day :-)

She loves classic architecture with modern decor.  WE love her for that because it meant we got to shoot at the lovely Georgian Terrace. (indoors with AC :-)

Have a look-see at OUR Lori in this east-meets-west bridal shoot.  Here are a few of our faves :-)

Lori you are pretty.. just thought you should know.

I love this jewelry. I want some :-)

Love in the fast lane.

Amidst cheers and beers they stole a flirty glance.  Mutual friends are credited for  bringing them together for evenings of fun, high fives and wide smiles.  Neon lights and crashing pins were the soundtrack to their budding romance.  After an evening of fun with friends they stole kisses under the moon light.  They have since been inceperable.

Sean and I were jazzed to photograph these two in the place where they first met and fell in love.

Please enjoy these images of Lisa and Alvin.

Mia is 6 months old!!

I can’t believe how she has grown, if you follow our blog you’ve heard her story before.  Well….just look at her now! It gives us a special kind of satisfaction to watch our clients babies grow and this family has two sweet babes!

I know this shoot was all about Mia but there is no way we could leave without a few shots of Drew as well.

Aunt Sarah was there too!

Look at Drew’s picture perfect pose.

And sweet Mia :-)  Smiling with her eyes! Tyra Banks would be proud.

I adore this shot of Mia’s inspiration to smile.  What awesome support in this family!

Chelsie~Anytime

There was a moment when she walked down the stairs to greet us….when a movie started to play in my head.   I think you know the scene I mean… the one where the beautiful girl walks down the stairs… in slow motion of course…. while mouths drop in admiration.  Well, this is what happened when Chelsie came down the stairs in her hot pink dress and sassy haircut.  All I can say is WOW.  She is so darn pretty!!!  She is also quite talented.  And, will soon be gracing a stage and/or  screen near you!  She is currently studying theater in college and will soon spend an amazing summer abroad in London-town. We were tasked with her new headshot.  She has a lovely new haircut after all! :-)

Have a look at some of our favorites from her girly headshot session. :-)

See Sean! Chelsie thinks I’m funny :-)

My word is she beautiful.  You should see those eyelashes up close… amazingness.

We, of course, had to meet the requirement for her 8×10 glossies….but nobody said we couldn’t have a little fun too!

Truth girl… truth.   Def. words to live by… and I am always a sucker for polka dots!

You are a lovely, lovely girl with an even lovelier demeanor.  I can’t wait to freak out when I see you on my TV! xoxo, Amanda

Catch Up!

So…. what have we been up to lately?  Well… we have had some fun and fabulous portrait sessions, we are prepping for a super cool bridal show and somewhere in there I turned 29 +2.  :-)  I’m not ready to reveal any full posts at present but here is a taste of what’s in store.

A sweet little baby girl session:

A fun and fab Headshot for a stunning young actress:

And an update on super fun b-day weekend.

Forbidden Love

Ok so it’s not that dramatic.  But in a way.. their love WAS forbidden.  Or should we say…it had to be kept on the “down-low”.  Kieu and John met while working for the same corporation, because of this they couldn’t shout their love from the mountain tops.  At least not right away.  I like to envision them passing flirty glances when they saw each other walking down the halls of Coca~Cola.  She is a feminine beauty whose laugh is joyful and heartfelt.  He is a smitten jokester who, clearly adores her in every way.  Together they are fun-loving, gracious and kind.

Here are a few our our favorites from their Atlanta Engagement session.

Of course we had to have coke representing

We had a popcorn fight. It was awesome.

He knows how to make her laugh.

I’m a sucker for a good “foot-poppin” kiss.

John wanted to pop his foot too.  We were happy to oblige.

How cute are they?

Kieu and John, Thanks for walking all over Atlanta for this shoot.  We are super proud of what we captured together!

June 25, 2011 - 7:26 pm JuniperRose - Where was the photo with the "keys hanging from the lamp" taken?

June 26, 2011 - 8:09 pm Amanda - Hey JuniperRose! The Glenn Hotel I believe.

Warrior Dash-Chicks that Click Style

So what would happen if a handfull of female photographers decided to “trash the dress”-Warrior Dash style??  Imma go with AWESOMENESS!!! And that is what we were…full of awesome.

Sean was kind enough to tag along and deal with our giggles, singing and hand-holding.  The squeals of excitement and delight could have come from your local playground.  We probably sang “goin’ to the chapel” more than a few times.  Needless to say, we had fun with reckless abandon…just as everyone should once in a while.

If you have never run a muddy, obstacle course type race… DO this! K? K.  You will not regret getting good and muddy.

Alecia’s face says what we all were thinking.

Proof I actually climbed this wall.  I was so afraid I wouldn’t be able to do it.  Rock on.

My fearless amazing pal Nadia

May 19, 2011 - 8:14 am Kaitlin Franco - OMG! These are amazing!! You rock lady!! xoxoxox

Just a bit of fun

Sometimes he turns towards me and says, “wanna go play”?  What this means is… would you like to go take some photos just for fun?  Um…lemme think…YUP!  Yesterday we were scheduled to photograph and adorable 2 month old boy.  However; he was under the weather so we had to reschedule the shoot.   So, there we were…sitting on the couch with a Saturday off.

This is what we did:

Just experimenting with a little bright sun and off camera light.  This is what we call our Christian Rock Band cover shots :-)

Lori and Viral~Engaged

Lori and Viral are high school sweethearts.  Thier love is pure and beautiful in it’s simplicity.   They know each other so well that at any moment…one can make the other laugh.  They have grown up together and, will finally solidify their love when they wed this summer!  We had a great day in the Atlanta sunshine…kicking around Piedmont park together.  Lori and V, you guys are tons of fun!  And, we have a slight dog-crush on Sammie…just sayin.

Atlanta Skyline + Lori + Viral = Swoon

How sweet is Sammie??  She was rescued from one of those horrible dog racing tracks.  She is happy now with her cool parents..and no longer has to chase fake bunnies around a track.

One of Sean’s famous framing shots.

Bit of quirky-Amanda in this image.  They rocked it.

Pretty light….oh how I love you SO much!

Secretly jealous of their slow dancing skills.

He knows how to make her smile

Um…how ADORABLE is this series??

Hmmm… I think I would be afraid of me…Purple Hair… creepy wrist brace… haha!  Thanks Sean :-P

Gotcha this time!!! The Murray-man is dreamy.

Hot for Teacher

She noticed him right away… the tall and handsome P.E. teacher.  And… he was not the typical tube sock wearing.. sweat band sporting sort…oh to the contrary.  She admired him from afar for a while and whenever one of her fellow teachers needed to correspond with him…. she always volunteered to deliver the message.   Several inconspicuous emails about gym and schedules and stuff…and a few elongated glances later… he realized it was safe to ask.  He mustered up the courage, and asked the pretty elementry school teacher to dinner. And the rest, as they say, is history.

I’ll let you in on a tiny secret… he noticed her too..right from the start.

We began our photographic journey at the fabulous Jekyll Island Club.

I asked Laney and Robert…straight up… are red apples too trite… you know..like cops and doughnuts.  She laughed and said…no they are awesome.

Our little spin on the “flowers-behind-the-back-surpise”

Laney and I both ADORE these trees.  I mean… how can you not admire this beauty?

The connection between these two is beautiful.

The next two shots are a great example of how Sean and I shoot together.  While I am getting this:

He is getting this:

A sweet save the date image with a little nod to their shared profession.

Who doesn’t love a good “foot-popping” kiss?

There was no way we were leaving the grounds without playing a little croquet.  PS-They made the shot!!

After leaving the gorgeous Jekyll Island club, we drove a short distance to these ruins to get some fierce pics :-)

And then… we ended at this private beach right around sunset.

I love how the wind is sweeping her hair to one side.  Gorgeous girl!

Love the pink that happens right before sunset.

I know including all three of the below images might be a bit much.. but hey… it’s my blog and I make the rules :-)

Sean is always so good about grabbing action shots of me.  I need to get better about shooting him too!  I’m sharing this one because when I saw it and couldn’t believe the way I twist my body sometimes.  But hey… a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do!

Laney and Robert… We love how you love each other.  Your chemistry is beautiful to witness.  Thank you so much for being adventurous and trusting us.  It really shows in the final images.  xoxo-Amanda
